The fifth season of The Bachelorette premiered May 25, 2020. This season featured 25 year-old Kaitlyn Lassett, a news anchor from Boston, MA. Lassett was on Matt Chambler's season of The Bachelor, where she was sent home at the final rose ceremony.
On August 31, 2020, Dan Wallach, a 27 year-old personal trainer from Spring Mills, PA was announced as the winner of the season, following a proposal to Lassett. As of today, they are still together.
